What a Beginner Spanish Student Should Know

We often hear the question ‘When will I be able to speak?’. The truth is that it takes most people years to become ‘fluent’ in a language, but you can start speaking and using the language right away. The current students in our intro to Spanish class in Boise impressed us so much with a recent assignment, that we wanted to put it up on the website and show off a little. The students were given different pictures of people and were told to write about them without a dictionary or translator (the exercise was done in class, so we were watching). The following are two samples of the texts that they produced, and that is only after 9 classes! Nice work Spanish Intro, you make us proud!
