Learning a language is not something that is simply checked off of a bucket list. While many students stop studying once they reach the intermediate level and can communicate easily, there are a few brave souls that know they must march on to truly perfect their foreign language skills. A few of those brave souls can be found in our Boise Spanish class on Thursday mornings. In the Spanish 8 class, not only do students read classics from Spanish language literature (they’re currently reading a book from the late Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez), but they also read actual newspaper articles on current events and offer their opinions for writing practice. Attached here is one such homework exercise from Beth, who began studying with CR Languages in level 2 and has completed two years of classes. Nice work Spanish 8! It’s been a pleasure!
