Learning a Language is a Journey
"I meet a lot of French
speakers at work!"
"My fiance's family all
speak French!"
"We're going to Paris
this fall!"
But It Can be
Frustrating
People waste time, money, and precious effort with little progress. Meanwhile, missed conversations, experiences, and career opportunities pass them by. They think they’re just not smart enough to learn another language.
We all
Start with Amazing aspirations
The dream, motivation, and commitment to speak French fluently are there, but too many people get lost looking for the ābestā or āeasyā way to learn French.
"I've been doing Duolingo
for more than a year..."
"I still can't put a
sentence together!"
"I feel like I'm just
wasting my time!"

Why our program works?
Structure
Expertise
Every instructor at CR Languages has native fluency in the language and theyāve learned other languages themselves (many have learned three or four!). We know what itās like to be you, and we know the pathway to fluency. Plus, with average instructor tenures of 5+ years and in-house training, the instructors know how to teach a good class.
Accountability
The group setting means you wonāt want to let your classmates down. Youāll correct your homework at the beginning of each lesson, and regular quizzes ensure you understand important topics.

Julieta's Story
āI was so afraid of making mistakes when I first moved to the US. I felt like I should be speaking perfect English. Can you imagine the looks on my students’ faces in my first classes, when I asked them to fill out a āsh**tā and not āsheetā?
But the fear of making mistakes is what held me back for so long. In order to learn to speak, we must be comfortable making mistakes. And in order to feel comfortable making mistakes, we need to build the right environment in the classroom.ā

The minimum age is 16, and most students span a range from 25-65+.
Homework will be assigned each week and is a very important part of the learning process. In addition to homework, students should also study vocabulary and grammar topics on their own. Students should expect to dedicate 2-3 hours per week outside of class to homework and studying.
Yes! Youāll be connected with all of your classmates and teacher in a private chat group in our student portal, which encourages students to meet up outside of class to study and practice together. Youāll also have access to additional online resources. Plus, if youāre ever feeling stuck, our director, Julieta, has an open-door policy for students that need support.
