CR Languages is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), a national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Accreditation means an outside body reviews our school \u2014 our teaching, our records, our operations \u2014 against published standards, and holds us to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have an update to share about that accreditation, and we are required to share it with all current and prospective students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 4, 2026, the ACCET Accrediting Commission issued CR Languages an institutional show-cause directive<\/strong>, a formal action requiring us to justify keeping our accreditation. The reason is because we failed to file to a financial report requested by ACCET. CR Languages files reports with ACCET regularly, as a condition of accreditation, and this one was not filed by the deadline requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have been directed to submit an interim report by October 30, 2026<\/strong>, which the Commission will review at its December 2026 meeting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are compiling the requested reporting and supporting information now, and it will be submitted ahead of the October 30 deadline. We are also making changes to our bookkeeping process to streamline reconciliation and ensure that producing the reports requested by ACCET is easier, the reports are clearer, and that a request cannot go unanswered again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n CR Languages remains accredited by ACCET.<\/strong> Classes, schedules, instructors, tuition arrangements, student records, and certificates are unaffected. You remain enrolled at an ACCET-accredited institution while we respond to the Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The directive obligates us to notify all current and prospective students of this action, which is why you are reading this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to addressing ACCET’s directive, we are recommitting to the ACCET standards of accreditation and beginning the process of reaccreditation, which runs through this fall and spring. Reaccreditation is a full review of the school measured against those standards, including a self-study and an on-site visit from trained evaluators who examine records, observe classes, and speak with students and instructors.
